Conflict Minerals Policy
At JD Photo Data, we are committed to ethical sourcing and the responsible procurement of materials. As part of this commitment, we ensure that our products do not contain conflict minerals originating from regions where their extraction and sale contribute to human rights violations, environmental degradation, and armed conflicts.
What are Conflict Minerals?
Conflict minerals typically refer to four metals: tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold (commonly known as 3TG), which are often mined in conditions that violate human rights. These materials are primarily sourced from conflict zones, particularly in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and adjoining regions.
Our Commitment
- We adhere to the principles outlined in international regulations, such as the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
- We work closely with our suppliers to ensure traceability and transparency in our supply chain.
- Our goal is to ensure that the materials used in our products are responsibly sourced, and we expect the same high standards from all our suppliers.
- We believe that responsible sourcing is essential for sustainable business and that our customers have the right to know where the materials in our products originate.
